Health & Wellbeing Web

Background

Arch Creative has been a proud supporter of Trade Sexual Health for many years, so we understood first-hand the limitations of their previous digital presence. Their old website had become difficult to manage and, more importantly, no longer met the diverse accessibility needs of their community.

The Brief

Trade required a new, highly accessible platform that would empower their team to share vital health information while ensuring no user was left behind.

The Solution

A website that opens doors to support

Building a site this significant required a deeply collaborative approach. We worked in close partnership with Trade and a dedicated working group to ensure every decision met the community’s real-world needs. We facilitated interactive workshops to refine the content and UX, utilising card-sorting exercises to restructure the site’s information architecture for maximum clarity.

This project represents the most accessible website we have ever built. We looked far beyond simple colour contrast, integrating technical features that address a wide spectrum of accessibility requirements. Built on a bespoke WordPress framework, the site is now extensively editable. This allows the Trade team to easily update content, add new services, and respond to community needs in real-time without technical barriers.

The Result

Breaking down barriers to health and wellbeing

The new Trade Sexual Health website is a benchmark for inclusive design. By combining user-led research with robust technical development, we created a platform that is both visually engaging and universally functional. The Trade team now has full autonomy over their digital content, and their service users have a seamless, barrier-free way to access the support and information they need. It’s a digital space that truly reflects the inclusive ethos of the charity itself.

“When we commissioned our new website, Arch understood the brief. They embedded accessibility into the design from the beginning. They understood that we needed to speak to multiple audiences and designed a site that refreshed our brand without compromising our core identity. The results speak for themselves – our site now drives more people to engage with our services and support.”
