What we did

We have collaborated with NHS teams to develop engaging public health campaigns, utilising creative design, video production, and community engagement to effectively promote health initiatives and encourage behaviour change.

We understand the unique challenges faced by the NHS and the Public Health sector. Our tailored creative services are designed to not only engage but also inspire action, making a measurable impact on public health outcomes.

Public Health Campaigns with Creative Solutions

Our work with the NHS demonstrates the power of speaking directly to target communities to increase awareness around vital health services.

For the Get Vaxxed campaign, we harnessed the power of storytelling and community voices to create a relatable narrative around vaccinations, blending creativity with urgency during a critical time for public health.

Our multimedia approach, which included videos, social media advertising, and outdoor advertising, resonated with target 18-29 year olds by using the voices of their peers. The outcome was a significant increase in vaccination uptake, reinforcing the role of creative communication in public health efforts. By utilising social media platforms and community outreach, we were able to break down barriers to vaccination amongst younger people.

Promoting Healthy Living through Innovative Initiatives

Promoting healthy lifestyle choices is crucial for improving community health. Our collaboration with the NHS to develop the Your Healthy Kitchen campaign exemplifies how creative services can support public health initiatives aimed at educating and encouraging behaviour change. habits.

Based on research that showed patients didn’t understand how to eat less fat, carbs and sugar, we created a multi-channel awareness and educational campaign with specific guidance on how to cook healthily.

Our approach was to create a campaign that suggested healthy food swaps and twists on traditional recipes rather than overwhelming statistics. We worked with an NHS dietician to produce a recipe book, videos, and a vibrant online presence. Our design elements focused on making healthy cooking approachable and fun, which led to heightened community participation and translated into real behavioural change.

Engaging with Local Communities

We have partnered with the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust for many years, producing impactful campaigns to improve health in Leicester and surrounding areas. Key projects include the Healthy Together initiative, 
which uses children’s artwork to create a friendly brand for family healthcare, and Raising Health, a charity effort with a “raising a smile” theme to support mental and community health services beyond standard NHS funding.

School of Comedy

BrightSparks is a community of mental health service users and volunteers who use the arts to promote positive images of mental health and wellbeing. They work in close partnership and collaboration with Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT). We partnered with BrightSparks to create the School of Comedy – a program that leverages humour, and improvisation to improve children’s wellbeing and learning.

Central to our work was a co-design session with local primary school students, where they played a key role in developing the character Bob and his unexpected sidekick, Rob the Robot Dog. This collaborative approach informed our custom illustrations and brand development, ensuring the materials were engaging and relatable.

We produced three tailored toolkits – for students, teachers, and parents – packed with fun activities designed to boost confidence, teamwork, and mental health. By supporting skills like public speaking and conflict resolution through comedy, we helped make learning both impactful and entertaining.

What we did

We partnered with Willows Health, a network of GP practices, to develop a unified brand identity that reflects their core values, and designed a user-friendly website to enhance patient engagement.

The Brief

Willows Health, a network of GP practices, wanted to bring its various practices together under one unified brand. The goal was to create a brand identity that represented its core values and mission while allowing for growth. The new brand had to resonate with both patients and healthcare professionals, offering a sense of trust, care, and excellence in service delivery.

Our Approach

To meet this challenge, we began by gaining a deep understanding of Willows Health’s existing practices, its stakeholders, and its long-term goals. This insight guided us as we embarked on a rebranding process that not only aligned the practices under a single umbrella brand, but also captured the essence of what makes Willows Health unique.
