At Arch Creative, we believe good design should do more than just look great – it should create change, connect people, and leave a legacy. That’s why we’re proud to support some impactful arts-based charities, CICs and creative community projects, and help to drive meaningful change.
From co-created rebrands to award-winning heritage exhibitions, our work with Soft Touch Arts, BrightSparks Arts, Social Gallery and Children in Need reflects our belief in design with purpose – and our ongoing commitment to creativity that gives back.
Soft Touch Arts has been using creative projects to engage with and transform the lives of young people since 1986. Arch Creative have worked in close partnership with Soft Touch for over a decade, collaborating on major heritage projects like Mods: Shaping a Generation and Punk: Rage & Revolution, both of which celebrated youth culture, community identity and lived experience.
The Punk project was named National Lottery Project of the Year (England) 2023, a joint recognition of the power of collaboration. Alongside exhibition design and campaign work, we helped Soft Touch co-design their new visual identity – developing an icon which marries the oval form of both a guitar plectrum and artist palette – combining music and art; two creative areas which are so critical to unlocking untapped potential of young people who lack opportunities or have challenges in their lives.
Led by and for people with lived experience of mental ill-health, BrightSparks Arts is an award-winning charity using creativity to connect, heal and inspire. Arch Creative Director Joe Nixon proudly serves as a trustee, and the studio has supported BrightSparks across multiple creative touchpoints – from a new brand identity co-created with participants, to campaign work, printed materials and video content.
In 2025, we worked together to mark their milestone year with the 25 in 25 campaign, honouring 25 years of community arts in mental health. As always, the creative process was shared, inclusive and celebratory – a true reflection of the values at the heart of BrightSparks.
A Community Interest Company with a mission to tell underrepresented local stories, Social Gallery shines a light on people, places and heritage that often go unseen. As a regular collaborator and supporter, Arch Creative has helped shape the visual and strategic output of Social Gallery – from digital storytelling to design assets for exhibitions and outreach.
Projects like Punk: Rage & Revolution wouldn’t have happened without Social Gallery’s research and grassroots engagement. We work closely to ensure these stories are preserved, presented and shared, through compelling design, accessible formats and a collaborative creative process.
For BBC Children in Need, we helped bring a powerful initiative to life ‘Food Friday’, which amplified the voices of creative local people. Working closely with the BBC, we crafted a campaign that was as bold and inspiring as the stories it celebrated. With authenticity at its core, the campaign connected with audiences across digital and broadcast channels, raising awareness and reinforcing trust in the Children in Need mission. It was design with a purpose – storytelling that inspired action.
Our community and charity work isn’t a side project – it’s central to how we operate. It connects directly to our core brand values of collaboration, creativity and culture. It also supports our Sustainability Strategy, with a focus on social value, inclusive partnerships and giving back to the place we’re proud to call home.
As designers, strategists and storytellers, we believe in the power of design to drive positive change – and we’re committed to work, and organisations, that make a real difference.
We’re responsive & easy to work with, so drop us a line and let’s create some amazing work together.
