Arch has been working with Arena Group for many years – Arena has a history going back over 250 years, with 1,224 employees and 18 depots across the globe. Arena design and deliver temporary environments for a variety of sporting, commercial and cultural events. Part of their portfolio covers a range of ice rinks around the UK which are operated by them.
Arena approached Arch to develop a social campaign to help promote their 4 key ice rink venues: over the winter and festive period:
Arch worked with the client to devise a content calendar for the campaign which included a mix of social deliverables including statics, carousels, animations and competitions to be used as part of an integrated paid and organic campaign.
Arena gave back to the community with targeted discounts to students and NHS workers, so we created tailored designs for these audiences for paid media, as well as developing a range of other content which was boosted across Instagram and Facebook. Each piece of creative was developed with bespoke copyline ideas, with mini campaigns for each venue which each had their own look and feel, but which all felt part of the overarching Arena Group family.
We carried out an 11 week campaign with 2 posts per venue per week, which saw a significant increase in followers, strong engagement, and most importantly excellent ticket sales over weekends as well as throughout the week.
