Consumer, Fashion and Lifestyle Photoshoots

Background

Photography plays a central role in today’s consumer, fashion and lifestyle campaigns. For consumer brands, photography must work hard. It is often the first point of contact between a brand and its audience, setting the tone, communicating value, and shaping the emotional response in a matter of seconds. It needs to be eye-catching and distinctive, whilst still representing the brand and its values authentically. We have worked with a number of brands to create strong imagery that doesn’t just capture attention – it purposefully builds desire and recognition across digital, print, and social channels.

The brief

When working with clients on photography and videography, we take time to learn about the brand, the campaign goals, and the audience it needs to resonate with. From there, we explore the emotional and motivational drivers behind the imagery, capturing what the audience should feel, aspire to, or identify with when they see it.

With the foundation in place, we can develop a creative direction that considers image impact and campaign goals, finding new and interesting ways to present products and ideas without losing sight of their core value. This process includes everything from location and casting to styling, props, lighting, and composition. We tweak the smallest details to make sure the final photography is memorable, on-brand, and effective.

Football Index

We worked with Football Index to develop the creative direction for their launch campaign designed to drive sign-ups and build brand aspiration.

We art directed and delivered a brand photoshoot using models and high-end props, including classic cars, to act as visual markers of luxury, confidence, and success. The photography positioned the brand within an aspirational lifestyle context, helping it stand out in a competitive market.

This photography formed the foundation of a wider campaign rollout, including digital advertising, print, and supporting marketing assets. We also created a campaign style guide, including advert copy and mock-ups to demonstrate how the photography would be used in context. This allowed the Football Index team to continue to adapt and use the campaign across their channels.

DeadHappy

We worked with DeadHappy to bring to life Skull Man, a unique character designed to make the insurance brand stand out with a younger, digitally-native audience. Our work began with developing the look and persona of Skull Man, drawing on cultural references and brand insights to ensure the character embodied DeadHappy’s confident spirit.

Over the course of a week-long photoshoot in a local studio, we art directed multiple setups that used props, colour and movement to reflect key aspects of the brand’s messaging. The resulting photography was versatile and narrative-driven, capturing Skull Man in situations that expressed both personality and brand values.

This photography became a core asset across digital platforms, supporting campaigns on social media and bringing colour and brand personality to their website, while reinforcing DeadHappy’s distinctive identity in a crowded market.

Fashion, product and lifestyle photography

High-quality photography is essential for brands, particularly in fashion, lifestyle and consumer sectors where detail, material, and craftsmanship influence purchasing decisions and build trust.

Our team has a wealth of experience art-directing photography for a range of companies including fashion super-brands such as Pretty Polly, through to new start-ups like Your Choix.

We understand how to create imagery that highlights a campaign narrative while maintaining a consistent brand aesthetic. Balancing creativity with detail and platform-specific requirements, we can tailor photography so that it works across e-commerce, editorial and campaign environments.
