Last Sunday, most of the intrepid Arch team braved the gruelling challenge of the Steamin’ Billy Bike Ride!
The annual cycle is a charity romp around the great county of Leicestershire. Bikers stop at as many Steamin’ Billy pubs as they can, all to raise money for a chosen charity. 2018’s good cause was Hope Against Cancer.
It’s a privilege to be invited along on the Billy Bike Ride. We were all feeling a little tender on Monday, but it was worth it to know that we helped raise £4000. Our route covered 25 miles – which is probably why we’re all so achy.
We had a great time pedalling between the pubs – and we’d thoroughly recommend it to anyone with a passing interest in cycling (and a genuine interest in a couple of pints!).
