As one door opens, another… opens!
We’re incredibly proud of all of our clients. At the moment, so many of them are giving us reasons to be cheerful, we thought we’d write a blog about it.
Around this time last year, we published a blog about how pleased we were that our clients were winning awards and hitting milestones. This year, our clients are expanding and growing – and we’re celebrating!
From the team that brought Leicester the premium events venue The City Rooms comes Winstanley House. Situated near the centre of Leicester, the team has pumped £2.5 million into the major refurbishment of Braunstone Hall into a 19 room boutique hotel, weddings and events centre complete with an onsite restaurant – Black Iron. Winstanley House has officially just been opened by City Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby – and looks absolutely stunning inside.
We’ve developed the brand identities for both concepts. The Winstanley House identity is based partly around the existing City Rooms look and feel, and partly as a throwback to the building’s high society roots, utilising the original griffin motif from The Winstanley coat of arms which we re-illustrated. Black Iron is a take on contemporary steak house themes. We’ve also created the website, signage and full suite of marketing materials.
Keep your eyes peeled for a separate blog about our work with Winstanley House – coming up in the next few weeks!
Arch have been working with the Steamin’ Billy brand since 2010 when they owned 4 pubs, to the 12 they now have. We’ve grown together, and, after the recent successes across the company’s venues, they’re expanding even further having recently acquired The White Horse in Atherstone.
As usual, we’ve been working on the menus and artwork for the new concept pub. The menu is one of the best yet – offering stonebaked pizzas, steaks, pizzas and an all new skillet section which cranks up the flavour of your average pub grub! Oh, and of course the traditional British pub cuisines you know and love from the Steamin’ Billy brand. The White Horse will be opening on Thursday 26th October.
New kids on the Arch block Mahiki Manchester opened their doors for the first time in early October. Take a look inside the tiki bar here. Mahiki is already a massively popular haunt for celebrities in Kensington and Mayfair, attracting the likes of Prince William and Prince Harry.
We’ve been developing collateral for their opening – menus, social media graphics, A boards, newsletter/e-shots, snapchat filters, loyalty cards – basically anything you can think of that you’d need to open a swanky club/bar/restaurant. Check out our little piece on the work we’ve done with Mahiki so far.
We’ve worked with Matt at Prussia since the brands inception a few years back – developing the golden eagle and premium glassware you can see in pubs and bars across the Midlands. Most recently, the Prussia team has moved from their brewing base in historic Konigsberg (still the ancestral home of Prussia Bier) to a gleaming new brewery in Newark. Not only is the brewery up and running, but you can get a pint in the Frederick – a brewery tap that serves Prussia straight from the source – from 16:00-19:00 on Thursday and Friday.
Our favourite Italian chef has been an Arch client for a few years through Individual Restaurants and his My Pasta Bar/My Restaurant brand. We’re brand guardians for Gino, meaning we ensure the brand has uniformity across all outlets.
Gino already has venues in London, Manchester, Leeds, Harrogate and Liverpool and now his latest venture has opened in Camden with another due to open in Hull in time for Christmas. On top of all that there is a new deal with fashion giant Next (who’s headquarters are in a little place called Leicester) means that Gino will be opening Prosecco bars and Pizzerias in Next stores – starting with the Arndale in Manchester.
There are other great client success stories so we’ll be back in touch with you over the course of the next few months.
Our cracking clients are growing at a rate of knots. With the addition of Ben, our videographer, and some of our new client accounts, we’re looking to grow with our clients. If you’re looking to expand your business, and need a creative agency to point you in the right direction – give us a call or come in for a cuppa!
