At the end of September, it’s the Leicester Mercury’s annual Women in Business Awards – and Arch client Fruity Beauties is up for the Business innovation prize!

We’re always keen to support our clients in winning awards, especially when they’re so close to our hearts. We’ve been with Fruity Beauties since their inception, when Alicia and Lucy approached us to design and develop a brand for a healthy kids snack. You can see a some of our work with Fruity Beauties – including a peach of an animation (yep, the fruit based puns are back)- in an earlier blog post.

“Both Lucy and I were totally thrilled to get the call that we had been shortlisted for this wonderful accolade. As a new business this really boosts our own efforts and hugely helps our brand recognition too. We are really looking forward to a glam evening surrounded by strong and inspirational ladies who are actively flying the flag for female prowess! We feel extremely fortunate and blessed right now!”

The nomination comes at a good time – we’ve just created a new video for the Fruity Beauties brand!

As former winners of a Leicester Mercury award ourselves (we won Small Business of The Year in 2014– the trophy is still in pride of place in the Arch studio!), the awards hold a particularly special place for us. It’s always great to be recognised locally, and the awards are some of the biggest, most prestigious accolades Leicester has to offer.

On top of all of this – the importance of celebrating diversity in British business is a passion of ours at Arch Creative. It’d be extra special if a client that we’d helped to build could pick up a Women in Business award.

The event itself is on the 28th September at The Welford Road Stadium, home of the Leicester Tigers. Jump onto the Mercury’s website for information on how to buy a ticket.

Nominations are now closed for the Women in Business Awards – so all that’s left is to say good luck to Fruity Beauties. They deserve the award for all of the hard work they’ve put into their brilliant, innovative, socially conscious idea. Not to mention the fact that the ice poles are pretty darn tasty too.
