World Graphics Day

It’s World Graphics Day today – so here’s a little look at some of the graphics work we’ve recently produced to promote MTV.

On the 15th July, the largest international music brand MTV are hitting Varna, Bulgaria for the Varna Beach Festival – and Arch Creative have been designing a range of marketing collateral for this “creative, energetic, youthful and dynamic music production team.”

In 2016, we worked alongside MTV promoting their Pimp My Summer Ball campaign along with their Summer Blast festival in Croatia. This Summer, the guys are heading even further East to bring revellers the Varna Beach Festival from Bulgaria! We’ve created a suite of promotional graphics to get the campaign under way.

The Varna Beach festival will feature some top quality acts – DJ superstar Steve Aoki, international singer songwriter Tinie Tempah, dance music duo Gorgon City, Club MTV favourites Rewire & Varski and Bulgarian’s Poli Genova will all be putting in an appearance – so the festival is guaranteed to make an impact. Couple that with the stunning Bulgaria location and you’ve got the makings of one of the biggest festivals of 2017.

The Varna Beach ident is crucial in creating a professional, visual representation of the brand and is used in conjunction with all the video work that MTV create for the Varna Beach project. Chief amongst the tasks for MTV was creating a website for Varna that highlighted the acts and the party atmosphere. We’ve developed a summer look and feel with vibrant colours and a minimalist layout to keep the site on brand. The ident and graphics we created are incorporated in the final video on the MTV Varna Beach site. The site is simple to navigate and does exactly what it needs to – tells you when and where the festival is, who’s playing and how to buy tickets.

The MTV brand is huge – they’re in the top 100 brands in the world according to Forbes – so for Arch they’re a client with a great range of exposure.
