Three’s a crowd, the magic number, everything comes in threes. Arch had three big days/nights out in quick succession recently. Here’s a slightly muted blog post about them.

So, Arch have been social little butterflies of late. We had ambassadors (official sounding right?) at each of our three recent events – the launch of Prussia Bier (yum), our annual night out with RCI and the Steamin’ Billy Jolly Away Day.

The Prussia launch night was held at The Canal House in Nottingham and introduced us all to the new, fantastic premium lager from the heart of the old empire. It’s every bit as delicious as it sounds, maybe too delicious judging by the amounts our staff managed to get through (especially for a school night). You can check out a couple of pictures here. Follow Prussia on Twitter at @PrussiaBierUK.

Round two was our Arch/RCI evening, the night after the Prussia launch. We started off in the Arch office before heading off the Leicester’s Cosy Club and then into the night. A cracking time was had by all, again maybe too good a time as attested to by the serious lack of photographic evidence. However, if you mill around on the Basement (Leicester)’s Facebook page for long enough you’ll potentially run across some images of us in the throes of merriment.

Lastly was the Steamin’ Billy away day – an awesome idea which is essentially a mass pub crawl around Leicester and Derbyshire. Steamin’ Billy gives everyone on the tour a free beer for every pub they go through and put on food throughout the day to stave off the hunger. The pubs the Arch reps hit were The Parcel Yard, The Railway, The Coronation and The Wilmot Arms. We ended up back at the PY for dinner (curry, if hazy, drunken memory serves) and a live band – Echo Drive. For pictures of the shenanigans you can have a sneaky peak on any of the (11!) Steamin’ Billy pub pages on FB, or search for the hashtag #JollyDayAway on Twitter.

So we’ve started the New Year off relatively similarly to how we ended the last one.  We’ll be a little quieter in the immediate future – but it is our tenth birthday this year and Leicester are on track to win the Premier League! Plus there’s the Six Nations, the Euros, the Olympics, Valentines, Easter, Chinese New Year… You know what? We give in. Pass the bottle opener.
