On Sunday, the remains of King Richard III travelled directly past the Arch Creative studio as part of a procession around Leicestershire before arriving at Leicester Cathedral ahead of his reburial on Thursday.

The funeral cortege a horse drawn hearse carrying the King’s coffin, which was built by a descendant of Richard III’s family, Michael Ibsen, together with Knights in armour, Bishops, Mayors, archaeologists and academics.

The streets were lined with thousands of visitors from around the country and further afield, so to commemorate the day, we invited our staff into work on their day off to experience this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.
