We’re extremely pleased to announce that we’re now working with production company, Fuschia Films.

Fuschia Films have an extensive portfolio of theatre and film productions and their latest venture is a documentary film entitled ‘Jane Austen: Overcoming Pride & Prejudice.’

First published in 1813, Jane Austen’s ‘Pride & Prejudice’ is probably the most widely read English novel in the world and certainly the best loved. This documentary feature explores Jane Austen’s impact as a female writer and asks why her novels have captivated readers the world over with stories that capture the imagination and so deeply touch the heart two hundred years after the novel was written.

There’s always been a real appetite for all things Jane Austen, and never more so than now it seems. With Austen going to be the new face of the ten pound note, and the new reinterpreted ‘Pride & Prejudice’ inspired Bridget Jones Diary novel just released, things have never looked so rosy.

Some fantastic names have already pledged their commitment to the project, including the actor David Bamber and legendary music composer Carl Davis. Sue Pomeroy, (who has already adapted and directed ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and ‘Emma’) directs.

As well as refreshing the logo for Fuschia films, we’ve created the brand identity for ‘Overcoming Pride and Prejudice’ and a 20 page investment brochure which used images taken from a specially organised photoshoot at Chawton House in Hampshire, where Jane stayed many times.
