Here at Arch, it’s great when our work can make a real difference. We work with a range of local public sector organisations and support services so we thought we’d show them a bit of love in a little blog post. From Leicestershire NHS Partnership Trust to Leicestershire Police and Leicester City Council, this sort of work gets a different kind of result – not sales and exposure – but stopping abuse, saving lives, supporting communities and helping to give people better futures.
As Leicester locals, we think you should look out for your community in as many ways as possible. Being a creative bunch, our way of doing that is to, well, get creative! So, this article is about the various charities and initiatives we work with to make Leicester a better place.
We work with the Leicestershire NHS Partnership Trust’s charity – Raising Health and a charity that supports the LPT – The Healthy Child Programme, specifically helping them on the 2017 initiative Healthy Together.
Raising Health provides equipment and funding projects in mental health & community health over and above NHS costs. We were tasked with creating a unique identity for the Leicestershire Partnership Trust’s charity – branded as Raising Health. Healthy Together has built upon the foundations of the programme’s current services to provide families with the care they need, including targeted support and early intervention for vulnerable groups where appropriate. We were charged with developing a look and feel for Healthy Together to sit under the NHS branding.
We created a range of marketing collateral for The Youth Service and their 17 Youth centres in and around Leicester for 13-19 years olds. Some of the items we’ve created for them included a Summer Youth activities guide, educational posters, roller banners, curriculum booklets, intervention flyers, police cards and a range of giveaway merchandise such as branded keyrings, balloons, hoodies and T shirts.
Our work with Leicester City Council made it into an earlier blog post – specifically our work alongside the council for UAVA – United Against Violence & Abuse. Through our years of experience of working with the DV (Domestic Violence) Forum we were approached to work on a major advertising campaign centred around domestic abuse awareness. We coupled everyday scenarios, including something slightly out of place or broken, with the word wrong in foreground typographics.
Our work with Trade Sexual Health over the past ten years has been very rewarding for us. They’re the charity we’ve been working with the longest and are tirelessly working towards saving lives. Trade promotes awareness of sexual health issues in the LGBT community in Leicestershire and Rutland and offers help and support to individuals suffering the effects of such illnesses. We’ve also worked with LASS – Leicestershire AIDS support service which Prince Harry recently visited . His mother Diana, Princess of Wales, visited LASS in 1991 helping to break the stigma of AIDS.
Last, but certainly not least is our work with our long-term supporting partners Soft Touch Arts. We’ve worked on countless pieces of work for Soft Touch, from a complete rebrand to their new website as well as supporting some of their young people with graphics workshops. You can read about some of what we’ve done in our blog celebrating their 30th anniversary.
Our public sector and charity work means a lot to us – it’s a genuine privilege to be able to actually make a difference through the work that we do. If you like the sounds of some of the things we do get in touch.
